The Enhancements Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company’s Enhancement Division, overseeing day-to-day operations, crews, and performance across all enhancement services. This role provides operational leadership for landscape projects.
This position is critical to delivering high-quality service, developing strong teams, maintaining excellent client relationships, and driving department efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, proven management experience, and a customer-first approach.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in landscape operations
- 3+ years of supervisory or management
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
Key Responsibilities: (These duties are not just limited to the above; they will also include any area where Miller Creek needs assistance.)
Division Leadership & Crew Management
- Lead and manage all enhancements crews
- Train, supervise, and develop team members to ensure safety, productivity, and quality workmanship
- Establish & fill staffing levels based on workload, seasonality, and departmental needs and communicate these needs to HR.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT requirements
Operations & Scheduling
- Plan and oversee daily, weekly, and seasonal enhancement schedules
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and resources across multiple crews
- Monitor all enhancement contracts to ensure scope, timelines, and quality standards are met
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure readiness and reliability
- Support continuous improvement of systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enhancement clients
- Maintain professional, discreet, and responsive client communication
- Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand expectations and service needs
- Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth
Sales & Department Growth
- Identify opportunities for cross selling services and expanding existing accounts
- Prepare and execute change orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Sales division to meet departmental growth and profitability goals
Quality Control & Performance Management
- Monitor field operations to ensure consistent quality across all services
- Identify and resolve operational issues or service deficiencies
- Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices
- Use performance data and field feedback to improve efficiency and outcomes
Snow & Ice Management
- Lead winter snow and ice removal operations
- Ensure crews, equipment, and materials are prepared for snow events
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage departmental labor, materials, and equipment budgets
- Oversee equipment repairs and expenses
- Manage enhancements inventory
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance related to landscape
- Stay current on industry best practices, safety standards, and equipment advancements
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between clients, crews, and company leadership
- Utilize landscape management software and digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and coordination
- Work closely with other Operation Managers to align enhancement operations with company goals
Field Presence
- Maintain a strong in-field presence, working on job sites and at company facilities
- Lead by example through visibility, professionalism, and hands-on support
Job Type:
- Full-time (Seasonal) 40+ hour/week

- $26-$35/hour
